A Leader for Lemon Grove
Krystle finds everyday ways to serve our beautiful community. She is in multiple service organizations that provide food, hygiene, legal assistance, and housing to those in need.
Krystle is a special education teacher in Lemon Grove with a heart for families and fixing our education system. She has been teaching for over 13 years and fights hard for the future of her students.
Krystle has been a resident of Lemon Grove for over a decade. She is a wife and a dog mom who enjoys reading, puzzling, and connecting with those around her.
She lost her dad in January 2025, and she works hard to live a life he would be proud of, by serving others and using her voice to fight for those left economically behind.

Safe & Smooth Streets
Our roads need a lot of love.
The potholes have to go!
They ruin our cars, make our commutes unsafe, and keep businesses away. We need more sidewalks and community spaces. We need to ensure Measure T, cannabis revenues, and general funds go to fix our streets.
A Vibrant Business Climate
Our city needs money to provide services. As a councilmember, the last thing I want to do is raise taxes. Instead, I will dedicate myself to clearing barriers that keep businesses from coming to our city, including improving and modernizing the permitting process.
I will work to bring new businesses to Lemon Grove. I also support expanding our revolving loan program for businesses that help make our community healthy.
City Solutions to the Affordability Crisis
Lemon Grove families need support.
The City can support families by opening the Lemon Grove Recreation Center and our Senior Center fully with programming.
I’m also personally committed to bringing new food distributions and community events that teach residents how to access existing resources that are underused. I will also find new ways families can access healthcare, daycare, and addiction support.
A Proactive & Responsive City
As I work to knock on 5,000 Lemon Grove doors, people tell me all the time they want a better response from the city when they have a problem.
I agree.
I will use every tool available to get big results from our little city.
That includes empowering local groups and civic clubs, finding volunteers for appropriate functions, and paying our city workers a rate that will reward and retain institutional knowledge, talent, and hard work. We need to get creative. I will also hold our contractors accountable and make sure all contractors are responsive, transparent, and prioritize the needs of our people.
